Holiday Rental Terms

Before deciding to rent a property through any website or booking agency, you really should take the time to read and understand the terms and conditions of rental.  Trinity Beach Holiday Homes do not hide terms and conditions in some obscure link in our website, or make it available to you only when you are undertaking the booking process and may be in too much of a hurry to read through the information.  We believe your holiday home transaction terms should be transparent and easily accessible.  Please make yourself familiar with the terms and conditions of using this website and booking a holiday home directly with one of the holiday home owners.

Booking Deposits and Cancellations

  • Booking deposits and cancellation policies are payable in accordance with the owners terms and conditions, as outlined on the web page for each individual property.  It is recommended travel insurance is purchased.
  • All monies are paid directly by the guest to the holiday home owner.
  • The property minimum letting period is 4 nights for Trinity Tropical Oasis and Mountain Views, and 5 nights for all other properties.
  • Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Holiday Guest Responsibilities

  • The premises are available for holiday purposes only and only for the period stated on your receipt. No weddings, parties or large gatherings are allowed. The number of people occupying the premises must not exceed the number of people that were initially booked or subsequently agreed in writing.
  • Check-in time is 2pm at the earliest. Check-out time is strictly 10am at the latest. Variation to this may be made at the owner’s discretion and will be confirmed in writing prior to arrival. Cleaners may arrive at the checkout time to prepare the property for the next visitors, so you must be out by the pre-agreed departure time.
  • The property should be left in a similar clean state to its condition on arrival (e.g. dishes washed and put away, clean kitchen and appliances, clean bbq, all household and outdoor contents to be returned to original position) and any wet manchester items need to be hung up (eg. bath mat, towels, tea towels). Failure to do so will incur excess cleaning charges which will be automatically charged to the credit card or cash security bond held. Please be considerate of the time needed to prepare the property for the next visitors – these are holiday homes, not hotel rooms, and a considerable amount of work needs to be done to clean and prepare the property for guests.
  • Linen/manchester is provided (with the exception of cot linen), and must be cared for by the holiday home guests during their stay.  It is not necessary to clean these items on departure.
  • Breakages and losses to the property are to be reported to the owner and paid for immediately.
  • Disturbance to the holiday home’s neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental with no refund payable for the balance of the booking.
  • Holiday home guests are to ensure all doors are locked and windows without security screens are closed when they leave the property at any time.  Holiday home owners do not takes responsibility for the personal property of tenants.
  • Holiday home guests are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of any children in their party or visitors whilst on the premises.
  • Any communications about the holiday home during your stay need to be directed to the holiday home owner, not Trinity Beach Holiday Homes.
  • Pets are not allowed on or about the property, unless approved in writing.

Holiday Owner Responsibilities

  • Holiday home owners do not provide free or optional housekeeping services during your stay.  Cleaning equipment and supplies are available for guest use.
  • The owner will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owner reserves the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Holiday home owners do not accept responsibility for any inconvenience due to machinery or appliance breakdown. The owner of the rented property will endeavour to have repaired, replaced or obtain a hire of alternative equipment once notified of any problems.

Trinity Beach Holiday Homes Involvement

  • Our business assists holiday home owner managers to market their properties on a commission-only basis.  It is not involved in, nor accepts any responsibility for, the day-to-day running of the holiday home.  Any communications needed during your stay need to be directed to the holiday home owner.
  • All booking monies are paid by guests directly to the holiday home owners, and your contract for the supply of accommodation lies with the holiday home owner, not with Trinity Beach Holiday Homes.
  • Trinity Beach Holiday Homes endeavours to keep photos and information up to date, however, it is not always possible – furniture, equipment and decor may be altered or improved by the owners from time to time and gardens are forever changing as they grow, are maintained and improved.
